Vairocana (Dari Rulai)

This is a design concept, not a photograph of a tattoo. Before any tattooing, the design is redrawn for your body, placement and story.

In one folk tradition, people born in the Years of the Goat and the Monkey have Vairocana (Dari Rulai) as their guardian.

Unlike most Buddhas, Vairocana wears a jewelled crown and ornaments. The hands form the wisdom-fist mudra: the right fist encloses the raised left index finger in front of the chest.

The whole guardian series is drawn like carved stone; the composition, size and open space are reworked for the part of the body you have in mind.

A try-on preview places the design on a photo of your chosen area. It is not a healed tattoo photo; the real tattoo is what counts. Only a photo of the area is needed, and it is deleted after use.
