Mahasthamaprapta (Dashizhi)
This is a design concept, not a photograph of a tattoo. Before any tattooing, the design is redrawn for your body, placement and story.
In one folk tradition, people born in the Year of the Horse have Mahasthamaprapta (Dashizhi) as their guardian.
Mahasthamaprapta is recognised by the small water vase at the centre of the crown. In this design the bodhisattva stands on a lotus pedestal holding a lotus flower.
The whole guardian series is drawn like carved stone; the composition, size and open space are reworked for the part of the body you have in mind.
A try-on preview places the design on a photo of your chosen area. It is not a healed tattoo photo; the real tattoo is what counts. Only a photo of the area is needed, and it is deleted after use.
