the Thousand-armed Guanyin (Avalokiteshvara)

This is a design concept, not a photograph of a tattoo. Before any tattooing, the design is redrawn for your body, placement and story.

In one folk tradition, people born in the Year of the Rat have the Thousand-armed Guanyin (Avalokiteshvara) as their guardian.

Here her two main hands are joined in prayer while many more arms fan out in a circle behind her, each holding a ritual object, above a lotus throne.

The whole guardian series is drawn like carved stone; the composition, size and open space are reworked for the part of the body you have in mind.

A try-on preview places the design on a photo of your chosen area. It is not a healed tattoo photo; the real tattoo is what counts. Only a photo of the area is needed, and it is deleted after use.
