This is a design concept, not a photograph of a tattoo. Before any tattooing, the design is redrawn for your body, placement and story.
A black and grey collage: the Colosseum, an astronomical clock, a sailing ship, a compass, a dove, candles, a spiral stair and a winged horse.
A design sheet is flat and a calf is round, so every element has to be re-routed along the curve of the muscle.
The clock stands for time and the compass for direction; the ship rides the waves and the dove the wind, while the winged horse climbs above them all. This design has been tattooed on a client’s calf.
A try-on preview places the design on a photo of your chosen area. It is not a healed tattoo photo; the real tattoo is what counts. Only a photo of the area is needed, and it is deleted after use.
