A Hand, a Rose

From my 2022 tattoo archive. These are photographs of the work from that period, not a later healed follow-up.

Does the hand offer the rose, or does the rose offer the hand? Fingers take the place of the bloom, while leaves and a slender stem keep the botanical silhouette intact.

The idea sits between two recognisable forms. Stippled shading gives the hand volume, with open skin around the stem balancing the denser detail above.
