Angel & Demon

An angel wing on one side, a demon wing on the other. Light and darkness are bound by a sword and chain, as if an endless struggle has been sealed across the chest.

I designed and tattooed this piece around a birthmark-coverage request. Layered feathers contrast with the ribs and shadows of the membrane wing; the sword anchors the centre, with the chain bringing both sides into one composition.
